So I’m coming up on a full year travel anniversary since I set off to India last November in search of healing, inspiration, adventure, and clarity. My intention had been to keep up this blog with updates and sharing my experiences but real life got in the way and it just didn’t happen as I would’ve wished. It’s all good, it is what it is and life goes on. ;) I’m back now and I’m wanting to share more about the places I’ve been and just any random thoughts on life and travel as I come to the end of this mind-blowing journey.
First of all, I am beyond grateful and filled with love and positive vibes from all of the people I’ve met, places I’ve seen and for my ever-present moment of living and learning day by day. Each day brings unexpected surprises with sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and people changing so much from one place to another.
I have become highly comfortable with the nomadic lifestyle, always ready to pack up and go at a moment’s notice, easily adapted and integrated into a new space, making any place feel like home because my home has been changing constantly week by week this past year. Packing and unpacking, finding where the yummy organic food is at, meeting interesting people, and learning about different cultures and the things that unite us!.. But I think the most valuable part for me has been observing how people around the world are doing their part in different ways to live in harmony with nature and to be the change that is so urgently needed. Some are still living the same way they have for hundreds of years (for example, what I saw when hiking through rural villages in Nepal): growing their own food, building their homes out of natural materials, and not yet corrupted by globalism. Meanwhile, countless conscious minds are sprouting all around doing both totally innovative things to live more sustainable lives while also learning and reverting back to traditional knowledge.
All these varying approaches and situations have filled me with hope and inspiration for the positive role humans can play in healing the planet and connecting back to Nature, to our true essence as caretakers of the Earth and of one another.
I’m looking forward to sharing more tidbits of inspiration, knowledge, and experience with you! I update most frequently on Instagram so you can also follow me there! ;)
Peace and love to all beings, may all beings be free from suffering. May all beings be happy.
with light & love
